   Santa Teresa Hostel - Funky Monkey Lodge

Funkey monkey combines an amazing mountian location just 100 mete walk to the best beach spot of Santa Terese. Lodge also offers a nice restaurant, with tv lounge, games and a good wifi signal coming from the luxury apartmet above. Here you can find a cool lounge with a big pool you can actually swimm at, cheap clean dorm rooms but also incredible luxury apartments with ocean jungle ocean view. Amazing!

  Mal Pais Hostel -  Atrapa Sueños hotel / Hostel

Atrapa suenos is one of the shikiest well design small butique hotel with hostel prices.
Its pool and out door area is very relaxing. Its a new hotel that recently buily has comfrotable beds TV cable, Wifi and located jus steps away from beach access to Playa del Carmen.

Manuel antonio hostel - Vista Serena hostel is the voted best view ever for rainforest jungle combined with a panoramic view of the pacific ocean. In Vista Serena, "We host the fun"
Chill reggae music all day long, you can sit on one of the many hammoc and watch the best sunset of your life. Some rooms are shared bathrooms, but are inside very cool new houses, with hot showers and hotel like facilities. The owener are sweet american famility that has been in Costa Rica longer then the ticos have. Very cool exciting place on of the best hostels we have seen in Costa Rica.

  Quepos hostel   -  Hotel / Hostel Tres Banderas

Tres Banderas is the best hostel in Quepos. Its the best solution for good spot if you are in the high season and Manuel Antonio is just fully booked. The hostel is really nice and is a good spot but in our opinon, just skip quepos and go to Manuel Antonio instead.

Montezuma hostel -  Hotel Lucy Backpackers hostel
VOted best original spot in the coolest hostel in Montezuma. Lucy is the core of backpackers coming to see the lovely waterfalls or just relax inside hostel Lucy where the waves just crashes on your porch. Its a very cheap and stadard place, made from wood and has small rooms. Very friendly and well located. Welcoming backpackers.

Monteverde hostel  Cabinas el pueblo Hostel

Its an Excellent small "minihostel" hostel in the heart for Monteverde, Santa Elena.Over looking to some nice green vegetation located in a good place where you can take hikes to many places. Rooms are very spacious and has cable TV and good wifi signal. All day trips available for fare price.

La Fortuna hostel - Pepitos hostel backpackers
Pepitos is such a cool cozy hotel in the price of a hostel. It rooms are very special, big double beds with the best matress. I slept so well overe there. AC will freeze you and the showers are nice and warm. Hostel has a free internet spot with 2 computers and wifi in the entire place. Small green garden and just 2 minutes from the road leading the football court and the those nice waterfalls of La fortuna.
 Pepitos takes care of all you excursion needs.


Jaco hostel - Las camas hostel in Jaco

Las camas is a main and only hostel in Jaco that affords cool vibes and atmosphere for young backpackers. Its a very basic hostel with the coolest young owners and mostly dorm beds, no privates available in general, since they are taken.. Has a nice tv lounge spot and a very cool terrace/roof where backpackers hung out and drink lots of beer/music etc.. Very cool affordable hostel !

Tamarindo hostel - Coral reef hostel backpackers style

Excellent hostel with a very centrical spot, nice rooms and friendly people.
Argeninian crazy owners will give you a good time. Beds are starting from 6 USD and
and private 10 USD per person in the low season.

  Playa Negra Hostel-  Los almendros lodge o Pablos playa negra hostel

Los Almendros de Playa Negra is a cool nature house with some small rooms that has bad smell but also with some amazing rooms including wifi,cable tv,AC fridge and more.
I suggest to take the rooms that are from 30 USd per night and not the cheap ones.
The Hostel is very cool and is located number 2 in being close to the beach of Playa negra.
Playa Avellanas  Casa de surf hostel o Cabinas El Leon hostel

Playa Hermosa Jaco - Cabinas Brisa del Mar hostel
Great hostel just next to the greatest beach with the biggest wave. This place is perfect for couples and surfers. Right behind the super market with cabinas facing the ocean. Brisa del mar is located 30 meters from the ocean. Accommodation also offer a ping pong table, guest kitchen, wifi, rooms with cable tv and ocean view.

Playa Hermosa Guanacaste -  Iguana Inn hostel for backpackers

Just ask Kenny to guide you around.  Chiill in the beach, or walk 30 seconds and dive to the Iguanna inn swimming pool. We got cabinas with chillout porch to jungle life with monkey and lots of interesting animals. Wifi access, close to the beach, some good pointers buy th oweners. also dont forget to ask Kenni, the owner where is the Playa hermosa Cinema.
